Not a bad book

The book is for my Feminism theory class. Seriously, there are some very good articles like Sojourner Truth's, Ain't I a woman, Bouvoir's famous article, and so on. Fredrick Douglass' article was also included.

Great! But...

It's a great collection, but there isn't an index of authors organized alphabetically. If you're looking for a specific article organized by author, you have to figure out which year the text was written in and then check the table of contents. This is really annoying and it takes me almost 5 minutes to just find what I'm looking for.

This is an interesting collection of articles, speeches,and parts of books that all relate to feminist theory. The early history of the women's suffrage movement is here, and women's rights to be human beings, rather than property. Interesting reading,
